Traditional Chinese medicine mentions that "anger hurts the liver". Excessive emotional fluctuations can easily affect the liver. From 11 pm to 3 am, blood flows through the liver and gallbladder. At this time, the body should get a complete rest, otherwise the liver's repair function will be affected, and the liver blood cannot be nourished, which will in turn affect the normal growth of hair.

5. Massage acupoints to promote blood circulation

Since hair health is related to the liver and kidneys, tapping the liver and kidney meridians can dredge the meridians, allowing qi and blood to flow smoothly, which is also beneficial to hair growth. The liver meridian runs along the inner side of the calf, while the kidney meridian is longer, starting from under the little toe, running diagonally along the sole of the foot to the back of the inner ankle, then ascending along the inner and posterior side of the calf and thigh, and finally to the abdomen and chest. Or you can press the Taichong and Taixi points to dredge the liver and kidney meridians. The Taichong point is on the liver meridian, and the location is at the junction of the big toe and the second toe bone. The Taixi point on the kidney meridian is in the depression 1 inch behind the inner ankle. Press for 3 to 5 minutes each, which can protect the liver and strengthen the kidneys at the same time.

Zusanli, Sanyinjiao and Yinlingquan can strengthen the spleen. Zusanli is located 3 inches below the outer kneecap, Sanyinjiao is 4 finger widths above the tip of the inner ankle and on the inner side of the tibia of the calf, and is the intersection of the spleen, liver and kidney meridians; and Yinlingquan is located on the inner side of the calf, in the depression on the inner side of the tibia below the knee. Pressing them for 3 to 5 minutes each can strengthen the spleen and stomach function and help the digestive system function.

Head massage also has good effects. Use 5 minutes a day to draw small circles from the hairline to the center of the top of the head with your fingertips, kneading, tapping gently, and pressing the Baihui point on the top of the head. This can promote blood circulation, stimulate hair follicle growth, and prevent hair loss. Or you can use a comb or your fingers to comb your hair from front to back to promote blood circulation in the scalp and allow sufficient nutrients to be supplied to hair growth.

6. Take some time to exercise to promote blood circulation

More exercise is beneficial to the body's blood circulation. Doing more exercise, including jogging, swimming, qigong, yoga, and stretching movements that can move the whole body can stretch the internal organs and also make the qi and blood in the body flow smoothly. Modern people's lifestyle and work style is mostly sedentary. After get off work, they often lie on the sofa when they get home, which causes poor circulation in the lower limbs.
