Why does the skin feel cold in summer

We all know that the weather is very hot in summer. Many people are afraid of being exposed to the sun in summer, because the sun will not only tan people's skin, but also make people sweat easily. Hot weather is most likely to make people feel depressed. However, some people have very cold skin even in the hot summer. When you touch their hands, you will feel a chill to the bone. So why is the skin very cold in summer?

1. People with well-developed sweat glands sweat a lot and their skin feels cool. This is because sweat takes away heat as it evaporates, so the skin feels cool, but the person himself definitely feels very hot.

2. People with underdeveloped sweat glands cannot sweat, and the heat is mostly concentrated on the surface of the skin. It feels very hot to the touch of outsiders.

When people sweat, the sweat on the skin surface will be dissipated into the air through evaporation, and evaporation will absorb heat, thereby lowering the surface temperature of the human body, and the person will feel cool. Therefore, the surface skin will feel cool to the touch. The skin continuously secretes sweat and then evaporates. The temperature must be relatively low, but the temperature you feel is the temperature inside the body. The high temperature in summer has a heating effect on the human body. Only by accelerating the dissipation of heat in the body and increasing the efficiency of sweating can you feel cool.

Maybe due to obesity, the heat in the body dissipates more slowly, so you feel very hot inside. Of course, this is also related to metabolism and is not entirely caused by obesity.

Causes of body cold:

1. Circulatory disorders

1. The heart is weak and cannot supply blood to the extremities of the body.

2. Anemia: insufficient circulating blood volume or low hemoglobin and red blood cells.

3. The human body's blood vessels will contract and the blood return ability will be weakened, resulting in poor blood circulation in the hands and feet, especially the fingertips, which is often called "poor peripheral circulation."

2. Insufficient Yang Qi

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that cold hands and feet are a kind of "blocked syndrome". The so-called "blocked" means blocked. It is affected by factors such as cool weather or cold body, causing the liver meridian to become cold.

The liver's hematopoietic function is affected, resulting in insufficient kidney yang, cold limbs, red or white hands and feet, and even pain.

3. Hormonal changes caused by menstruation and childbirth

Among people with cold hands and feet, women account for the majority. This is because hormonal changes affect the nervous system, causing subcutaneous blood vessels to constrict and blood flow to decrease, thus causing cold symptoms.
