The main ingredients of dishwashing liquid

In life, many people choose to use detergent when washing dishes, because detergent is very effective in removing grease. Although this chemical agent has some smell, it will not cause harm to the human body as long as it is rinsed a few times. The reason why detergent has a very strong stain removal function for grease is because of its special ingredients. So what are the main ingredients of detergent?

The main ingredients of dishwashing liquid are sodium alkyl sulfonate, sodium fatty alcohol ether sulfate, foaming agent, solubilizer, flavor, water, pigment and preservatives. Sodium alkyl sulfonate and sodium fatty alcohol ether sulfate are both anionic surfactants, petrochemical products, used to remove oil stains.

1. Sodium linear alkylbenzene sulfonate:

Sodium linear alkylbenzene sulfonate has good detergency and emulsification power, hard water resistance and good foaming power, and excellent biodegradability. It is a green surfactant and is used in detergents such as shampoo and dishwashing detergents (content 60%).

2. Sodium fatty alcohol ether sulfate:

Sodium fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate (also known as sodium fatty alcohol ether sulfate) is an anionic surfactant that is easily soluble in water and has excellent detergency, emulsification, foaming and hard water resistance properties. Its mild washing properties will not damage the skin.

Please note: Dilution to an aqueous solution containing 30% or 60% active substance without a viscosity modifier will often result in a highly viscous gel. To avoid this, the correct method is to add the highly active product to the specified amount of water while stirring. Do not add water to highly active ingredients as this may cause gel formation.

3. Anti-foaming agent:

Commonly used anti-foaming agents include: methyl silicone oil, acrylic acid ester and ether copolymer, etc.

4. Solubilizer:

A solubilizing agent has the ability to increase solubility.

5. Flavor:

Dishwashing liquid contains at least several or even dozens of natural and synthetic fragrances.

Directions:

1. Cleaning

There are two ways to use dishwashing liquid:

1. Dilute the detergent with water to 200-500 times, soak for 2-5 minutes, scrub with a sponge or rag, and then rinse with running water.

2. Pour the detergent directly onto the sponge or rag, dip it in a small amount of water and scrub the dishes (be sure to wear rubber gloves), then rinse with running water.

It is recommended to use the second washing method, which has a high washing concentration and a better washing effect. Even heavier grease can be washed well.
