People occasionally feel that their nose becomes very dry, which is very uncomfortable. In this case, you must find a way to improve it. Otherwise, it will be very bad for your nasal mucosa and may even cause some nasal diseases. In addition, you can also replenish your body with more water so that your body can be kept moisturized. Skin is the natural outer coat of the human body. It is generally divided into three parts from the outside to the inside: the epidermis, dermis and subcutaneous tissue. The epidermis is further divided into the stratum corneum, stratum lucidum, stratum granulosum, stratum spinosum and stratum basale. The stratum corneum, the outermost layer of the skin, plays an important role in the integrity of the skin barrier function. There is a sebum film on the stratum corneum, which is a translucent milky film formed by the emulsification of sebum, sweat and epidermal cell secretions. The free fatty acids, lactate, urea and uric acid in the sebum film are natural moisturizing factors that moisturize the skin. The stratum corneum and sebum membrane can prevent the loss of skin moisture. Under normal circumstances, the water content of the stratum corneum should be around 10%. If it is lower than this level, the skin is dehydrated. By using Australian Lanolin or massage to maintain or exceed this water content, it shows that the skin is well moisturized and has reached an excellent state. As mentioned earlier, the epidermis can actually be divided into five layers from top to bottom, namely the stratum corneum, stratum lucidum, stratum granulosum, stratum spinosum and stratum basale. The formation of these five layers is actually a process in which cells continuously divide, age and finally die. Among the cells in the basal layer, there is a type of cell called "melanin" that secretes melanin pigments. The color of our skin, including the spots on it, is caused by these melanin pigments. In fact, there is no difference in the number of melanin cells contained in people of different skin colors, but the amount of melanin secreted is different. In fact, even for the same person, when exposed to a lot of sunlight, the secretion of melanin will increase, because this pigment has the function of protecting us from ultraviolet damage. This process is commonly described as "getting tanned by the sun." In addition to producing melanin, a more important function of the basal layer is continuous cell division. The newly formed cells below replace the original cells and become part of the basal layer, while the replaced cells above gradually age and become tissue parts with the spinous layer, granular layer, and clear layer in sequence. They then die and become keratinocytes to form the stratum corneum, and finally fall off the skin, completing the entire process of metabolism. For a young person, the entire metabolism takes about 26-28 days, but with aging, the metabolic rate will slow down. After the age of 50, it will probably be extended to 37-42 days. |
