1Edible parts of jellyfish

Jellyfish is rich in nutritional ingredients, containing a variety of nutrients, including protein, fat, carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorus, iron, vitamins B1 and B2, niacin, iodine, choline, etc. According to measurements, every 100 grams of jellyfish contains 12.3 grams of protein, 4 grams of carbohydrates, 182 milligrams of calcium, 132 micrograms of iodine, and a variety of vitamins.

3 Nutritional value of jellyfish

Jellyfish tastes salty and is neutral in nature. It has high nutritional value and has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, resolving phlegm and softening hard masses, lowering blood pressure and reducing swelling.

Experiments have shown that jellyfish contain substances similar to acetylcholine, which can dilate blood vessels and lower blood pressure. The mannan polysaccharide it contains has certain effects on preventing and treating atherosclerosis; it can also prevent the occurrence of tumors and inhibit the growth of cancer cells; at the same time, it has a good therapeutic effect on bronchitis, asthma, gastric ulcers, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.

4 People who are suitable for eating jellyfish

Jellyfish is suitable for patients with acute and chronic bronchitis, cough and asthma, yellow and thick sputum, simple goiter, habitual constipation, high blood pressure, fever and thirst, ulcers, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.

People with weak spleen and stomach should not eat too much jellyfish.
