Plantar melanoma

Plantar melanoma

Plantar melanoma is a common tumor that appears on people's feet, posing a great threat to people's leg safety. When you are dealing with melanoma, you will find black pigmented moles on your body, and some raised areas will appear on the surface. When this happens, many people think it is some lumps or foreign objects, and only when it becomes serious do they discover that it is a tumor. So when you have plantar melanoma, what measures should you take to solve it first?

1. Symptoms of plantar melanoma

1. After patients develop plantar melanoma, pigmented moles will appear on their skin and bumps will appear on the surface. In addition, the patient's pigmented nevus will also become itchy and ulcerated. If we do not treat it in time, it can easily lead to local infection and suppuration.

2. Plantar melanoma can also be asymmetric. Its pigment spots are asymmetrical, so it looks very unsightly. Moreover, the edges of melanoma are irregular and usually jagged, unlike normal pigmented moles which are regular circles or ovals.

3. In addition, the color of melanoma will also change. It usually appears as a non-toxic black, but sometimes it can appear in different colors such as brown, blue, pink, white, etc.

4. Melanoma is larger than ordinary pigments, usually with a diameter greater than five millimeters. Some melanomas are even greater than one centimeter in diameter, and they grow very quickly. Therefore, if we find that we have a pigmented mole with this symptom, we must pay enough attention to it.

5. Mild ulcers will appear on the skin surface, and tenderness will usually occur when we press. This situation will also cause local ulcers, which cannot be cured after repeated treatments, which will have serious effects on the body.

2. The harm of plantar melanoma

Melanoma is a disease mainly caused by the malignant proliferation of melanocytes. It often occurs at the extremities and can have very serious effects on the body. Plantar melanoma is the most common subtype of melanoma. It is very malignant. If we delay the treatment of the disease, it will pose a serious danger to the patient's life safety, so we must not delay treatment.
