Afro female short hair

Afro female short hair

Nowadays, many young people will work hard on their hair in pursuit of fashion, and many young people will trim their hair into their favorite hairstyle. In the previous period, afro was very popular and many girls would cut their hair into afro, which looked like a very fluffy and messy ball. So, how do you get that afro-like short haircut?

1. What is an Afro

Afro refers to a hairstyle that makes the entire head fluffy through perming. Afro-hair (Afro for short), also known as "Afro" or "African head", was a hairstyle popular in the 1970s. It is characterized by large, curly and puffy spherical hair. The most popular style of afro was brought about by the band Boney M. At that time, the afro became a classic look for dance and fast songs in disco.

2. Perm Type

1. Hot chopsticks

After air drying, rub with your hands. The so-called "chopstick perm" is a perm method that uses chopsticks to support cold curls. The curls created by using a chopstick curler have wavy curls, which look loose and pretty. The hairstyles with chopstick perms are also varied. After washing and combing your hair, just let it air-dry and then rub it with your hands.

2. Spiral perm

It will take shape after air drying. The curls created by a spiral perm have a corkscrew-like effect. To do this, roll shoulder-length or longer hair around a curling iron held upright to create spiral curls. This perm method can also create an explosive hairstyle after the hair is air-dried.

3. Ceramic perm

The curls and waves are natural. The new perm technology, ceramic perm, has only been around for two or three years. This type of perm, which uses the principle of infrared rays, creates curls that are extremely natural in terms of curls and waves. They look elastic and are easy to manage, and you can maintain a natural and beautiful effect even if you don't spend time blow-drying your hair. Ceramic perm is also considered the least damaging perm method for hair, so it is very popular among women.

4. Sponge perm

The water ripples are sexy and charming. This perm method uses a cylindrical sponge as the curling core and is generally more suitable for long hair. The curls created by the perm appear wavy, sexy and charming.

5. Horseshoe-shaped hair fork perm

The curls are flat in shape. This perm method uses a horseshoe-shaped fork, that is, a U-shaped fork as the hair core. The curls created by this perm method are flatter in shape, and the ripples are more like water waves, which looks romantic and charming.
