What is the cause of upper limb pain

If you sit in one position for too long, you will find that you feel stiff when you move, and you need to gently twist your waist and head to move normally. So, what causes upper limb pain? There are several reasons for upper limb pain. Problems with the cervical spine can cause upper limb pain; arthritis can also cause pain in the limbs; there is also tendonitis, etc. Therefore, whenever pain occurs, the best way is to go to the hospital for examination.

1. Causes of upper limb pain

1. Cervical spondylosis

Arm pain may be caused by cervical spondylosis, which is mainly caused by pain in the back of the neck and shoulders, weakness in the upper limbs, cold limbs, dizziness, headache, nausea, tinnitus, palpitations, local sweating, etc. In severe cases, blurred retina may occur, etc. Arm pain may also be caused by joint diseases due to long-term improper work and rest. Right arm pain may also be caused by ligament injury, which requires active examination and treatment. If the symptoms are mild, they can be relieved by developing a good lifestyle and avoiding maintaining the same posture for a long time.

2. Arthritis

If the pain is severe on the first day and better the next day, then there is nothing wrong with it, but if the pain comes back for no clear reason, then it could be arthritis.

3. Tendonitis

One of the most common diseases is tennis elbow, which is a type of "tendinitis", an inflammation of the tendon tissue around the elbow joint (the same condition can also occur in the knee joint, and is generally more likely to occur in housewives and those who do housework). Arm pain caused by bursitis is easier to identify because the elbow symptoms caused by bursitis include warmth, tenderness (painful to the touch), and painful swelling of the elbow. When suffering from tennis elbow, although the elbow becomes useless, there are no such symptoms.

2. What causes numbness and pain in the arm?

Numbness and pain in the arm are probably caused by two factors. The first is caused by joint diseases, such as cervical spondylosis, wrist arthritis, etc. Because the inflammation compresses the nerves, causing local blood circulation problems, symptoms such as numbness and pain in the arms will appear. Another reason is improper work and rest in life. If the sleeping posture is wrong, compressing the local nerves or sitting for a long time, it will cause numbness and pain in the arms. If it is caused by improper sleeping posture, just improve the bad sitting posture.
