In fact, there is no comparison between moxa wool and moxa sticks. Moxa wool is in bulk, while moxa sticks are in pieces. Moxa sticks are used in moxibustion boxes, which can be broken into pieces of more than two centimeters and used as moxa sticks, or they can be used in bamboo moxibustion boxes. The quality of moxa is determined by its purity. The higher the purity, the better the quality, and vice versa. The purity of moxa is expressed by the ratio of how many kilograms of moxa leaves are made into 1 kilogram of moxa. Common moxa ratios include 5:1, 8:1, 10:1, 15:1, ... 35:1 and so on. Four. Feel the fire of the moxa stick: a good moxa stick has a gentle and not strong fire, and has strong penetration. The fire of poor quality moxa sticks is strong, with poor penetration and can easily cause burning pain.

five. Look at the burning speed: moxa sticks with a high ratio have fine and fluffy moxa, while moxa sticks with a relatively low ratio have much fewer impurities, so moxa sticks with a high ratio burn faster than moxa sticks with a low ratio.

This point is often misunderstood by many people, who think that moxa sticks burn too quickly and are not durable. Little do people know that the effect of burn-resistant moxa sticks is much worse than that of non-burn-resistant moxa sticks.
