You can brush your teeth and rinse your mouth, but don't remove the sealed medicine. Pay attention to oral hygiene, avoid fatigue, pay attention to rest, maintain adequate sleep, and pay attention to nutritious diet. Do not eat spicy or irritating food, do not eat with the affected teeth, eat with the opposite side, and brush your teeth normally.

3. Precautions after root canal treatment

First, teeth become more brittle after root canal treatment and should be repaired with inlays or crowns to prevent tooth fracture and extend the life of the teeth.

Second, you may experience brief discomfort during or after root canal treatment, which can usually be relieved by taking anti-inflammatory or analgesic drugs. If local swelling and pain occur, you should inform your doctor for treatment.

Third, for some patients with chronic apical periodontitis, the apical inflammation of the lesion is in a dormant state during treatment, or there is just a tendency for an acute attack. The subjective symptoms are not obvious, and there is only slight percussion pain when seeking medical treatment. During treatment, the doctor needs to flush the root canal. If the patient has low resistance and does not take anti-inflammatory drugs in time after treatment, acute inflammation will occur, causing pain.
