1. How to use the early pregnancy test paper

Collect urine in a clean, dry container. Remove the test strip from the original aluminum foil bag and use it as soon as possible within 1 hour.

Hold the test strip and place the end with the arrow mark into the container containing urine. After about three seconds, take it out and lay it flat. Observe the results within 30 seconds to 5 minutes.

2. Judgment of the results of the early pregnancy test paper:

Positive (+): Two purple-red bands appear. One is located in the test area (T) and the other is located in the quality control area (C). Indicates pregnancy.

Negative (-): Only a purple-red band appears in the quality control area (C), and no purple-red band appears in the test area (T). Indicates not pregnant.

Invalid: No purple-red band appears in the quality control area (C), indicating incorrect operation process or the reagent strip has deteriorated and damaged.

3. Precautions for using pregnancy test strips

1. If the pregnancy test paper you bought is stored for too long (more than 1 year), or the early pregnancy test paper is damp and not kept at normal room temperature (should not be refrigerated), it may become invalid and result in a false negative test result.

2. If the pregnancy has just begun, or there is a possibility of ectopic pregnancy, the HCG level in the body is generally low. The test sample needs to be left to stand for more than 3 minutes (generally only 1 minute is needed), and it is necessary to carefully identify whether there is a weak positive - the color band in the test area only appears faintly.

3. After 3 months of pregnancy, HCG levels decrease and urine tests may sometimes be negative or weakly positive.

4. In extreme cases, such as hydatidiform mole and choriocarcinoma, the HCG level in the body will be too high and the urine test will not show a positive result.

5. A positive result does not mean 100% pregnancy. Because some tumor cells such as hydatidiform mole, choriocarcinoma, bronchial carcinoma and renal cancer can also secrete HCG, and there have even been patients with endometrial hyperplasia who tested positive for HCG.
