How to correct facial bone asymmetry

Facial bone asymmetry is what people usually call irregular facial crookedness. This situation greatly affects people's own image, but the bones themselves are relatively hard and it is not an easy thing to correct. But it is not impossible to correct it. There are still many ways to correct facial asymmetry in daily life. So, how to correct facial bone asymmetry?

First, how to correct facial bone asymmetry? The main reason is caused by eating. When we chew food, we tend to chew on one side, which can easily cause the masseter muscle on that side to become more developed, which can easily cause asymmetry in the facial shape on both sides. The second is about my daily living habits. We must understand our own habits, such as which hand we often use to support our chin, squeezing the left or right side of our face when sleeping, and breathing through our mouths for a long time can also cause facial imbalance. Being aware of your own habits and persisting in correcting them will be of great help in your adjustment.

Second, since everyone has a different appearance, everyone has their own cheekbone shape that suits them. Some people unfortunately have an asymmetrical face that needs correction. The purpose of zygomatic bone reduction surgery is to balance the zygomatic bone with other parts of the face. Even if your facial bones are asymmetrical and your cheekbones are prominent, you should not blindly perform a cheekbone cut. If you cut off the prominent cheekbones on a long face, the face will appear longer. When the zygomatic bone is severely protruding or asymmetrical, zygomatic bone reduction surgery is usually performed through a coronal incision of the scalp. Opening the scalp can fully expose the zygomatic bone, provide a clear surgical field of view, and allow for particularly accurate osteotomy. This surgical method can be used to correct large protrusions of the cheekbones in front or on the sides, achieving a perfect face-slimming effect.

How to correct facial bone asymmetry? To correct facial crookedness, hold your cheeks with both hands, and rub the right cheek backwards with your right hand and the left cheek forward while opening and closing your mouth. Next, knead both sides in opposite directions, and let your mouth open and close in coordination with the kneading. Use your right hand to push your cheek up and your left side down, opening and closing your mouth in coordination. Do this again in the opposite direction, opening and closing your mouth as well. The crooked eyebrows and eyes can be corrected by massaging along the brow bone and eye sockets. Use your thumb to press along the area below the brow bone and above the eye socket, starting from the beginning of the brow and moving toward the end of the brow. Repeat three times and massage the other side three times as well to stimulate the eye bones to return to their correct position.
