What to do if kidney cancer metastasizes or spreads

In recent years, kidney cancer has become one of the major diseases that endangers society and human health, and it has brought great pain and distress to humans. In order to reduce the incidence of kidney cancer, we humans should master the methods of kidney cancer metastasis or spread:

1. Direct invasion: Renal cancer gradually grows larger, breaks through the tumor capsule and spreads to the surrounding areas, infiltrating into the renal pelvis inward, breaking through the renal capsule outward and infiltrating the fat and fascia around the kidney, and spreading to adjacent tissues such as the colon, adrenal glands, liver, spleen and transverse chest.

2. Lymphatic metastasis According to statistics, 15%-30% of renal cancer can metastasize via the lymphatic pathway, metastasizing to the renal pedicle, preaortic and left lateral lymph nodes on the left side, and involving the vicinity of the renal hilum, the pre-inferior vena cava lymph nodes, and the lymph nodes between the aorta and the inferior vena cava on the right side. Some cancer thrombi can metastasize to the preaortic and post-inferior vena cava lymph nodes, and can spread upward to the cervical lymph nodes, and can also directly metastasize to the lungs through the lymph nodes.

3. Blood metastasis is an important metastatic pathway of renal cancer. Cancer cells invade veins and form cancer thrombi in the veins. They can further extend into the inferior vena cava to reach the right atrium and metastasize to the lungs, bones, and other organs, causing extensive blood metastasis. They can also invade the vertebral body or metastasize to the spermatic vein and ovarian vein.

Clinically, the treatment of renal cancer spread and metastasis advocates systemic comprehensive treatment. For the primary lesion of renal cancer, if the patient can tolerate surgery, palliative resection can be performed first, and then assisted by radiotherapy, chemotherapy and ginsenoside Rh2 (such as Jinxing Capsules produced by Hainan Asia Pharmaceutical, with a content of up to 16.2%). Lesions metastasized to the liver can be removed at the same time as the primary lesion of renal cancer. For patients with renal cancer metastasis who have weak physical functions and cannot tolerate surgery, the clinical method of combined radiotherapy, chemotherapy and traditional Chinese medicine treatment is often used. It is worth mentioning that ginsenoside Rh2 plays a role in the treatment of renal cancer metastasis. Disease in any part of the body is not just a local problem, it is closely related to the overall immune status of the person. In Western medicine's treatment methods for cancer, surgery, radiotherapy or intervention are local treatments; chemotherapy and immunotherapy are systemic treatments, but most of them are damaging treatments with too many side effects and cannot adjust the functions of various organs.

The above are the ways in which kidney cancer metastasizes or spreads. Expert Tips: If you have symptoms of a disease, do not delay diagnosis and go to a regular hospital for treatment in time to avoid delaying the disease and causing serious consequences.
