Are lithium battery factories harmful to the body?

Most of the best-selling batteries on the market now are lithium batteries. Compared with other types of batteries, the most obvious feature of lithium batteries is that they have a longer battery life and a larger capacity. However, as we all know, lithium batteries contain electrolytes, which can easily cause harm to the human body after evaporation. But for people who work in lithium battery factories for a long time, will it be harmful to their health?

1. Lithium-ion batteries are absolutely harmful to the human body. The most harmful is the electrolyte solution, which is an organic volatile liquid and has obvious corrosiveness. Long-term inhalation of volatile gases can damage the respiratory tract.

2. If you are working on battery cells, the things inside the battery cells are harmful to the human body. It is not recommended to go there. You must wear a gas mask or respirator to work. I opened a battery material barrel without knowing it before, and it was smoked. I couldn't eat for a day. If you are doing PACK, it basically has no effect on your body (some workstations need to be exposed to organic solvents), but this is harmful;

3. Radiation. Radiation refers to the phenomenon that radio frequency waves generated by high-frequency oscillations of circuits are emitted into space. Radiation of a certain frequency and intensity has an effect on the body.

4. What is the production process of lithium battery production line and will it cause (gas, water and soil) pollution? As for the current lithium battery production process, lithium battery (Li-ion) will not cause (toxic heavy metal) pollution.

Note:

1. Avoid using the battery under harsh conditions, such as high temperature, high humidity, prolonged exposure to the summer sun, etc. Avoid throwing the battery into fire.

2. When removing the battery, make sure the electrical appliance is turned off; the operating temperature should be kept between -20 and 50°C.

3. Avoid storing batteries for long periods of time in electrical appliances that are not in use.
