Cerebral infarction is a very serious disease, because when it occurs, it will threaten the patient, and he will have an intermittent shock when it occurs. The onset is very violent, so for patients with cerebral infarction, they should always control their emotions and not let themselves be in a state of excessive excitement or anger. So, is cerebral infarction life-threatening?

The symptoms of cerebral infarction vary greatly. Lacunar cerebral infarction may have almost no symptoms, or may have symptoms such as dizziness, numbness, and fatigue. Severe cerebral infarction may be life-threatening, which is mainly related to the scope and location of the infarction. It is recommended to take medication under the guidance of a doctor, control blood sugar, blood lipids and blood pressure, and then use drugs to improve cerebral blood supply, such as betahistine, etc. The Chinese patent medicine Naoxintong Ginkgo Leaf Tablets can be taken in conjunction. Pay attention to your diet, eat a low-salt and low-fat diet, avoid anxiety and irritability, keep a regular schedule, ensure sleep, eat more vegetables and fruits, and avoid spicy and greasy foods.

This disease is prone to sudden onset and peak symptoms within a few days, including contralateral hemiplegia (severe degree), hemi-numbness (loss of sensation), homonymous hemianopsia, aphasia, apraxia, vertigo, diplopia, oculomotor paralysis, ataxia, crossed paralysis, pupil abnormalities, quadriplegia, difficulty eating and swallowing, and impaired consciousness. This is a cerebral artery occlusive syndrome.

Most cases are not accompanied by symptoms of intracranial hypertension such as headache and vomiting. Secondary cerebral edema that occurs within a few days after occlusion of a larger artery can worsen symptoms and lead to impaired consciousness. Severe cerebral edema can also cause the risk of fatal brain herniation. So please don't leave anyone around.
