TCM's classification and treatment of renal cancer

Traditional Chinese medicine has a long history of understanding kidney cancer. Kidney cancer belongs to the categories of "hematuria", "low back pain" and "kidney accumulation" in traditional Chinese medicine. It is classified according to internal and external factors, and treatment is also based on the principle of syndrome differentiation and treatment.

1. Kidney Yin Deficiency Type

Symptoms include short, red urine with blood, hot flashes and night sweats, dry mouth and throat, sore waist and knees, back pain and abdominal mass, red tongue, and thin and rapid pulse. Treatment: Nourish yin, clear heat and cool blood.

2. Spleen and Kidney Deficiency Type

Symptoms include low back pain, abdominal distension, hematuria or lumps in the waist and abdomen, poor appetite, nausea, vomiting, weight loss, weakness and anemia, pale tongue, thin white tongue coating, deep and weak pulse or weak pulse. Treatment: Strengthen the spleen and kidney, soften and disperse the nodules.

3. Damp-heat accumulation in the kidney

Symptoms include low back pain, distension, hematuria, low fever, fatigue, poor appetite, lumps in waist and abdomen, greasy white and yellowish tongue coating, fat tongue, and slippery and rapid pulse. Treatment: Clear away heat and dampness, detoxify and remove blood stasis.
