How does rectal cancer get to you

Rectal cancer is a common malignant tumor in the gastrointestinal tract, with an incidence rate second only to gastric and esophageal cancer, and is the most common part of colorectal cancer.

In the past decade, various studies have proven that the intake of acidic foods is the culprit of cancer, and cancer is a representative of acidic body constitution. In terms of food, with the increasing intake of meat, protein, and fat, the incidence of colorectal cancer has also shown a clear upward trend.

The first causative factor of rectal cancer: chronic rectal inflammation

Chronic ulcerative colitis and granulomas caused by chronic schistosomiasis are directly related to the occurrence of colorectal cancer. The longer the course of the disease, the higher the possibility of developing colorectal cancer.

The second causative factor of rectal cancer: diet and carcinogens

The relationship between dietary structure and the occurrence of colorectal cancer is generally believed to be related to factors such as the metabolic products of animal fat, bacterial decomposition products, and slowed intestinal motility and increased intestinal toxin absorption due to a low-fiber diet.

The third causative factor of rectal cancer: genetic factors

In addition to patients with colorectal cancer caused by familial polyposis or malignant transformation of ulcerative colitis, about 5-10% of other colorectal cancer patients have a clear family history of tumors, collectively referred to as hereditary non-familial polyposis colorectal cancer. The specific manifestations are:

(1) Three or more family members have colorectal cancer, two or more of whom are from the same generation.

(2) The disease occurs in at least two generations.

(3) At least one of them was diagnosed with colorectal cancer before the age of 50.
