Beware of skin moles developing into skin cancer

The full name of black mole is melanocytic nevus. Don't underestimate the black moles on your body. If they are rubbed, scratched and damaged for a long time, they can easily become malignant. Improper removal and drug corrosion can cause benign melanocytic nevus to transform into melanoma, which is a type of skin cancer.

Li Zhi has had a black mole on his forearm since he was a child. As he grew older, the mole gradually grew larger, but after reaching a certain size, it stopped growing. Since it did not hurt or itch, and had no other adverse effects, he did not take any measures, and the mole has not changed at all.

Later, Li Zhi went to work in a chemical factory, dealing with chemical raw materials all day long. He worked there for several years until he discovered that the black mole on his forearm occasionally felt painful and itchy. Later, the mole began to increase in size, darken in color, and even became eroded and bleeding. So Li Zhi went to the hospital for treatment.

After diagnosis, the doctor determined that Li Zhi's melanocytic nevus had turned into cancer, that is, melanoma, and then developed a treatment plan for him.

If a person has a mole on his body, he should be alert to the possibility that the mole may turn into melanoma if the mole undergoes the following changes: 1. The mole increases in size, and the pigment becomes darker or lighter; 2. The mole expands radially to the surrounding area; 3. The mole causes pain or discomfort for no reason, and there is a small amount of exudate on the surface; 4. The lymph nodes in the mole area are swollen, and faint blue-black colors can be seen; 5. The patient has blue-black urine.
