Second degree of tonsil hypertrophy

Second degree of tonsil hypertrophy

Tonsillar hypertrophy is a recurring disease that does not cause much actual harm to the patient's body, but it can still affect a person's normal life, such as eating, talking, etc. The possibility of self-healing of secondary tonsil hypertrophy does exist, but the probability is still relatively low. At the same time, when it occurs, it will also affect the organs around the tonsils. For secondary tonsil hypertrophy, the first measure is to take medication for anti-inflammatory and analgesic purposes.

Second degree enlargement of the tonsils can return to normal on its own, but the possibility of this happening is relatively low. Even if the second degree of enlargement of the tonsils can return to normal on its own, the recovery time required is extremely long. Some patients with severe conditions may not recover from tonsillitis for several months. The course of the disease is long and very uncomfortable. If there is a second degree of swelling in the tonsils, you need to consider taking some anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs to effectively control the inflammation in the tonsils. As long as the inflammation is under control, the tonsils will gradually reduce their swelling and shrink little by little.

For some patients with tonsillitis who suffer from recurrent attacks and severe peritonsillar abscess symptoms, taking anti-inflammatory and analgesic medication is the best treatment method. This is the simplest, most convenient, time-saving and efficient method of treating tonsillitis. However, if the patient's condition with tonsillitis worsens further, then everyone must go to the hospital for surgical treatment immediately to prevent the condition from further worsening.

In general, we can draw a conclusion that the second degree of enlargement of tonsils can return to normal on its own, but the probability of self-healing is very low, so it is better to take measures for treatment as soon as possible. In addition, if people do not find ways to treat tonsillitis effectively in time, it is very likely to cause some adverse diseases of the organs adjacent to the tonsils, such as rhinitis, sinusitis, and inflammatory enlargement of the cervical lymph nodes. Therefore, once symptoms of tonsillitis appear in everyone, they must seek medical treatment as soon as possible.
