In principle, laryngeal cancer is not contagious, but it may be related to infectious diseases during its development. For example, hepatitis B itself is contagious. In my country, it is an important cause of liver cancer, and many liver cancer patients have hepatitis B in the early stages. We can say that some tumors are caused by infectious diseases, but direct transmission of tumors generally does not exist. The source of infection, the route of transmission and the susceptible population are three essential conditions for infection. In terms of the source of infection, cancer cells only grow in the patient's body and cannot survive in the air, so it cannot be said that cancer cells are the source of infection. Even if cancer cells enter the body of another person through other means, the immune cells in the body will quickly kill the foreign cells and protect the body's health. There are high-risk groups for laryngeal cancer, but no susceptible groups. Foreign medical scientists have also demonstrated that laryngeal cancer is contagious. Through long-term observation of patients in tumor sanatoriums, it was found that cancer patients with ulcers and cancer patients without ulcers who lived together for a long time never had any mutual infection. On the other hand, there are countless cancer patients treated by doctors, and the cancer incidence rate of doctors is not higher than that of ordinary people. At present, there are a lot of common facts that animals with cancer and healthy animals live in the same room, and no examples of direct infection have been found. In hospitals, patients with different types of cancer have lived in the same room for a long time, and for many years, no mutual infection has been found. Medical staff have long-term contact with cancer patients and have not found that their cancer incidence rate is higher than that of ordinary people. It can be seen that laryngeal cancer is not contagious, and of course it is not contagious in the late stage, so we don’t have to worry about laryngeal cancer being contagious. With the improvement of medical technology, the treatment of laryngeal cancer has gradually improved, which can effectively prolong the patient’s survival. In addition to traditional surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, biological immunotherapy has become another emerging method for the treatment of laryngeal cancer. Biological immunotherapy after surgery can effectively improve the survival rate and quality of life of patients and prevent the spread and metastasis of cancer cells. |
