4. Chronic inflammatory stimulation. The incidence of ulcerative colitis and colon cancer is 5 to 10 times higher than that of the normal population. The incidence of colorectal cancer in chronic bacterial dysentery, chronic amoebic colitis and Crohn's disease is higher than that of the control group of the same age. Since chronic ulcerative colitis and other inflammations can cause intestinal mucosal exudation, edema, repeated damage and repair process, it can cause fibrosis.
