Is it possible to cure breast cancer?

Nowadays, the incidence of breast cancer is getting higher and higher, and the patients are getting younger and younger. Many patients are particularly concerned about the cure rate of breast cancer. What kind of breast cancer can be cured? Generally speaking, whether breast cancer can be cured is related to the stage. The cure rate of early breast cancer is high, so the possibility of cure is also high. On the contrary, the cure rate of late breast cancer is low.

It is generally believed that the cure rate of stage I breast cancer is usually expressed as a 5- to 10-year survival period. Because the chance of recurrence within 5 years is relatively high, and the chance of recurrence after 5 years is significantly reduced. In general, the 5-year cure rate of stage I breast cancer is 90% to 95% or more, stage II is 70% to 80%, stage III is about 50% to 60%, and stage IV is less than 10%. Therefore, the earlier the stage, the better the cure, and early diagnosis and early treatment should be given.

The cure rate of breast cancer depends on the stage, so how are stage one and stage two staged? Experts say that there are two main stages of breast cancer, one is clinical staging and the other is pathological staging. The simplest clinical staging is based on the size of the tumor and the condition of the axillary lymph nodes. According to the size of the tumor, it is divided into T1 to T4. T1 refers to a tumor smaller than 2 cm, T2 is 2.1 to 5 cm, T3 is more than 5 cm, and T4 is a tumor that invades the skin or chest wall. Axillary lymph nodes are divided into N1 to N3 according to their location, whether they are active, and whether they are adhered to other tissues.

The cure rate of breast cancer is generally optimistic, because the overall treatment effect of breast cancer is relatively good. Even for metastatic breast cancer, including lung metastasis, liver metastasis, etc., as long as it is treated reasonably, the survival rate is relatively long. Because there are more and more treatment methods and more and more new drugs are being developed, breast cancer treatment has also made great progress, so breast cancer patients and their families should not give up easily.

Chemotherapy is a hurdle that all breast cancer patients have to face, because breast cancer is more sensitive to chemotherapy, but chemotherapy drugs will kill normal cells while killing cancer cells, among which the most obvious reactions are impaired digestive function and suppressed bone marrow hematopoietic function. If it is used improperly and the dosage is unreasonable, it will make things worse for breast cancer patients with poor immunity. Many breast cancer patients will find it difficult to accept chemotherapy or cannot persist in completing the entire course of treatment due to severe reactions.

Therefore, during the chemotherapy process, a lot of auxiliary treatments must be used to ensure the smooth progress of the treatment and better improve the cure rate of breast cancer. Many literatures indicate that ginsenoside Rh2 can directly kill breast cancer cells, inhibit cancer cell proliferation, or reverse the development of tumor cells into normal cells, and also contribute to the cure rate of breast cancer.
