The recurrence rate of breast cancer patients

This probability does not mean much. The treatment of breast cancer is relatively complete. It is treated systematically according to the principles, including surgery, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, etc. The overall prognosis of regular treatment is still good. Recurrence is related to the tumor itself and the body's immunity. Maintain a good attitude, receive systematic treatment when you are sick, and don't keep it in mind after treatment, but check regularly, and everything will be fine.

When breast cancer comes back, it may appear in the same place. This is called a "recurrence" because it is not a new cancer. But it may also come back in a place that is not directly related to where it first started. This is called "metastasis." When breast cancer comes back, it tends to be in certain specific parts of the body: the breast or where it was removed, the chest, lymph nodes, bones, the lungs and their surroundings, the liver, or the brain. Rarely, cancer spreads to the breast or chest from other parts of the body. If you have a tumor in the lymph nodes, lungs, liver, bones, or brain, it is most likely a regrowth or recurrence of breast cancer rather than a new cancer.
