Is diffuse prostate cancer hereditary?

Is diffuse prostate cancer hereditary? Although some people have proposed the relationship between genetic factors and prostate cancer, it has not yet been confirmed, because there is currently insufficient evidence to prove that if the previous generation had prostate cancer, the next generation will also have the disease. It is rare for prostate cancer to be inherited in direct relatives.

Despite this, in terms of tumor genetics research, the medical community still classifies prostate cancer as a familial cancer. That is to say, prostate cancer tends to occur in certain families. The reason for this phenomenon may be due to genetic factors, but it is more likely due to the same family members having common living habits, the same living environment, the same external interference or the same "carcinogenic factors" stimulation.
In my country, the incidence of prostate cancer is much lower than that in Europe and the United States, and there are no reports of prostate cancer being passed on to the next generation. Of course, this does not mean that prostate cancer has no genetic tendency. In the absence of confirmation of whether prostate cancer is hereditary, it is important to pay attention to the following in daily life: if your parents or grandparents have a history of prostate cancer, it is best for the offspring to consciously change their lifestyle or living environment to be the same as the previous generation.
Is diffuse prostate cancer hereditary? If there is a history of prostate cancer in the previous generation, the offspring should pay special attention to abnormal urination symptoms and go to the hospital for relevant examinations as soon as possible to avoid delaying diagnosis and treatment.
