Gallbladder cancer affects normal life

The impact of gallbladder removal on the body It is generally believed at home and abroad that gallbladder removal can have some impact on the human body. The gallbladder has the function of storing and concentrating bile to adapt to the human body's centralized eating habits and help digestion and absorption of food. After gallbladder removal, this regular function of adapting to digestion is lost.

The bile secreted by liver cells when not eating cannot be stored. The human body must continuously eat small amounts of food like horses, deer and other animals without gallbladders to adapt. If too much fat is eaten, fat absorption will be impaired due to insufficient bile, resulting in diarrhea. The gallbladder is an elastic sac-shaped organ that has the function of regulating and maintaining bile duct pressure, allowing bile to flow in one direction and preventing liver and pancreatic reflux. After gallbladder removal, the gallbladder loses its buffering pressure function, and bile reflux to the liver and pancreas may occur.
After cholecystectomy, bile is continuously discharged into the intestine when not eating, and then absorbed into the liver, circulating between the liver and intestine. At this time, due to the contact between bile and intestinal bacteria, more secondary bile acid can be produced, which has a certain degree of damage to liver cells. Bile reflux gastritis may also occur after cholecystectomy. This is because bile continuously enters the intestine, and when the stomach is empty, there is a lack of gastric acid and food to neutralize it, and bile can accumulate in the duodenum and flow back into the stomach. Bile is very harmful to the gastric mucosa.
