1. Astragalus, Pork and Red Vine Soup

Ingredients: 50 grams of astragalus, 10 dates, appropriate amount of lean pork, and 100 grams of red vine.

Preparation: Add 1000 ml of water to the astragalus and red vine, and boil over high heat. Then simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Take the juice and stew it with jujube and pork until it is soft. Eat the meat and drink the soup.

Efficacy: replenish qi and harmonize the middle, harmonize the stomach and strengthen the spleen, replenish qi and produce body fluid, clear away heat and detoxify. Suitable for abdominal pain and distension caused by intestinal cancer, frequent bowel movements, etc.

Ingredients: 50g of honeysuckle vine, 100g of white flower oldenlandia, 50g of nightshade, 50g of barbata, 100g of rice, 30g of sugar

Preparation: ① Wash the honeysuckle vine, white flower oldenlandia, nightshade, and barbata, put them in a clay pot, add 500 ml of water, boil for 25 minutes, turn off the heat, filter, and take the liquid medicine. ② Wash the rice, put it in the pot, add the liquid medicine and 300 ml of water, boil it on high heat, then simmer for 35 minutes on low heat, and add sugar.

Efficacy: clearing away heat and detoxifying, dispersing stagnation and reducing swelling. It is especially suitable for patients with rectal cancer.

How to eat: Take once a day, 100 grams of porridge each time, and eat it as a main meal.

2. Rhubarb Sophora japonica honey drink

Ingredients: 4 grams of raw rhubarb, 30 grams of Sophora japonica flowers, 15 grams of honey, and 2 grams of green tea.

Preparation method: First, pick out the raw rhubarb, wash it, dry it in the air or in the sun, cut it into slices, put it into a casserole, add appropriate amount of water, boil it for 5 minutes, remove the residue, save the juice for later use. Add Sophora japonica flowers and tea leaves to the pot, add appropriate amount of water, boil it, pour in the raw rhubarb juice, remove from the heat, let it cool slightly, and stir in honey while it is still warm.

Usage: Take twice a day, morning and evening.

Efficacy: clearing away heat and detoxifying, cooling blood and stopping bleeding. This dietary therapy is suitable for patients with colorectal cancer who have blood in their stools, bright red blood, and blood in their stools after cancer surgery.

3. Purslane and Sophora japonica flower porridge

Ingredients: 100 grams of fresh purslane, 30 grams of Sophora japonica flowers, 100 grams of japonica rice, and 20 grams of brown sugar.

Preparation method: First, sort out the fresh purslane, wash it, blanch it in boiling water until it is soft, remove it, arrange it neatly, cut it into fine pieces, and set aside. Pick out the sophora japonica flowers, wash them, dry them in the air or in the sun, grind them into very fine powder, and set aside. Wash the polished rice, put it into a casserole, add appropriate amount of water, boil it over high heat, then simmer it over low heat until it becomes a thin porridge. When the porridge is almost done, add the fine sophora japonica flower powder, purslane powder and brown sugar, and simmer it over low heat until it boils.

Usage: Take twice a day, morning and evening.

Efficacy: Sophora japonica is cool and bitter in nature, and has the effects of clearing heat and cooling blood, clearing the liver and purging fire, and stopping bleeding. This dietary therapy is suitable for patients with colorectal cancer who suffer from bloody stools and bright red blood.
